Recently, a woman named Puja was murdered in Khatima of Udham Singh Nagar district. Now in this case, the police demolished the house of the accused Mushtaq Ahmed with a JCB. The accused had slit Puja’s throat and hidden her body in Khatima. Puja’s missing report was registered in Haryana, so the accused is in the custody of Haryana Police. Puja and Mushtaq were in a live-in relationship. Mushtaq killed Puja to get rid of her.

The police say that the house of Mushtaq Ahmed, resident of village Gaurikheda Sitarganj, accused in the Puja murder case, was built by encroaching, so his house has been demolished. On Monday, a campaign was launched against encroachment and illegal construction on the instructions of District Magistrate Udham Singh Nagar Nitin Bhadoria and Senior Superintendent of Police Udham Singh Nagar Manikant Mishra.

The accused’s father had built a house by occupying the land: Police said that a case of illegal occupation and encroachment by land mafia on ST class land had come up in Gaurikheda village of Sitarganj Kotwali. When the district administration investigated the matter, it was found that Ali Ahmed had built a house on the land of Mathura Singh (son of Narayan Singh, resident of village Tharu Gaurikheda Kotwali Sitarganj). Mathura Singh belongs to the ST category. After the death of his father, that land is registered in the name of Mathura Prasad.

Action after notice: The district administration had also issued a notice to Ali Ahmed to vacate the land, to which Ali Ahmed did not respond. After this, taking further action, the police-administration team demolished Ali Ahmed’s house today with a JCB. Let us tell you that, Ali Ahmed’s son is Mushtaq Ahmed. Pooja Vishwas, a resident of Nanakmatta, and Mushtaq Ahmed also lived in a live-in relationship.

Know the whole case: It is alleged that Mushtaq Ahmed wanted to get rid of Pooja Vishwas, so he killed Pooja Vishwas by slitting her throat and threw her body in Khatima Kotwali area. Pooja Vishwas and her sister used to work in Gurugram, Haryana. Pooja came to Sitarganj in November 2024, but did not go back after that. On 19 December 2024, Pooja Vishwas’s sister had registered her missing in Gurugram, Haryana, so Haryana Police was investigating the case.

Haryana Police had detained taxi driver Mushtaq Ahmed from his house in Sitarganj on April 30 in connection with the disappearance of Pooja Vishwas. Mushtaq Ali had told Haryana Police that he had killed Pooja by slitting her throat about five months ago and threw her body in the canal in Khatima Kotwali area. Haryana Police had reached Khatima on the information given by Mushtaq Ali. With the help of Khatima police, Haryana police recovered the headless body of Pooja from near Naddana canal. The condition of the body was very bad. The police could not find the girl’s head.

Pooja Vishwas murder case

During police interrogation, Mushtaq Ali had told that he and Puja both lived in a live-in relationship in Gurugram. Both of them met at Rudrapur Roadways Station. From here, their love affair started and both started living in a live-in relationship in Gurgaon. The girl used to work in a spa center in Haryana with her younger sister while Mushtaq used to drive a cab there.

However, during this time Mushtaq married someone else in November 2024 in Sitarganj Gaurikheda. When the girl came to know about this, she reached the accused’s house and created a ruckus. After this, Mushtaq brought Puja to his sister’s house in Khatima and killed her on 16 November 2024. The head was put in a sack and the torso was wrapped in a sheet and thrown into the canal.
