State Children Policy approved in Uttarakhand Cabinet meeting, many proposals also approved

A cabinet meeting was held in the secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The Dhami cabinet has agreed on 20 proposals in the meeting. Before the start of the cabinet meeting, gratitude was expressed to the brave soldiers and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saluting the valor and indomitable courage of the Indian Armed Forces on the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’. At the same time, after the cabinet meeting was concluded, Home Secretary Shailesh Bagauli gave information about the cabinet proposals by briefing.

These important proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting-

• Policy prepared to improve the system of UPCL got approval
• The amount of Chief Minister Disaster Relief Fund will be kept in the bank giving higher interest, whose revised rules got approval
• Policy approved for large poultry farms, 3 thousand people will get benefit, 40 percent subsidy will be available in hilly areas and 30 percent in plain areas
• New policy approved to keep destitute cattle in Gau Sadans, DM given power to build Gau Shalas. Government will give 60 percent subsidy for cow shelters
• Service manual approved for promotion of Joint Commissioner Grade 1 and Joint Commissioner Grade 2 in Finance Department
  Policy made for Corpus Fund created under Juvenile Justice Act 2015, Uttarakhand Juvenile Justice Policy 2025 approved
• State Children Policy approved

In the Uttarakhand Cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Single Women Self Employment Scheme has also been approved. 2 thousand women will be given benefits in the first year. A budget of Rs 30 crore has been kept under this scheme. Subsidy of up to one and a half lakh rupees will be given.

Let us tell you that a network of ropeways is being laid in Uttarakhand. In such a situation, the feasibility study of the proposed 50 ropeway projects is being done. After this study, the ropeway projects found suitable will be put on the ground. What will be the profit sharing percentage after the ropeway project is built? The Chief Minister has been authorized to take a decision on the proposal related to this.

At the same time, under the Motor Vehicle Taxation Reform Act 2003, there is a provision to collect green cess from vehicles coming from other states. In such a situation, it has been decided to increase the rate of green cess fixed in the year 2017 by about 28 to 30 percent.
