Today, October 10th, the Nobel Prize was announced in Oslo, the capital of Norway. Among the 338 candidates for the award, US President Donald Trump’s name was in the headlines.

Eight countries nominated Trump
Eight countries nominated Trump for the Nobel Prize. This includes Pakistan, Israel, the United States, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Malta, and Cambodia. Regarding the Nobel Prize, the nomination process begins each year on February 1st. Only nominations received by that date are considered valid. This year, the deadline for nominations was January 31, 2025.
