Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra broke all records, new history recorded in the statistics, the journey will continue further

The Chardham Yatra will close on November 25th
The doors of all four Dhams will close by November 25th. But even before the conclusion of this Yatra, the Chardham Yatra has created new history. This year, due to heavy rains in the state during the months of June and July, the Chardham Yatra had to be stopped several times. Many routes were closed, bridges were washed away, and there were even situations when hundreds of pilgrims were stranded midway. Keeping the safety of the pilgrims in mind, the government postponed the Yatra for a few days on several occasions.
Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra Breaks All Records
However, after the weather returned to normal, a wave of devotees surged again. This unwavering faith shattered all previous records for the pilgrimage this year.
According to statistics, as of Wednesday, approximately 1.453 million devotees had visited Badrinath Dham alone. Last year, this figure was approximately 1.435 million, 341. With about a month left before the doors of Badrinath close, it is estimated that this figure could rise even higher.

Similarly, this year, more than 1.656 million devotees have visited Baba Baba at Kedarnath Dham. In 2024, this number was approximately 1.652 million. This year, 735,615 devotees have visited Gangotri Dham so far. Meanwhile, 632,094 devotees visited Yamunotri Dham.

Concerning the four Dhams, the number of devotees has reached approximately 47,76,049 so far. The administration estimates that this number will exceed 5 million by the end of the Yatra.
