Uttarakhand Aroma Revolution Policy launched; Aroma Satellite Centers also inaugurated

Chief Minister Dhami participated in the launch program of the Uttarakhand Aroma Revolution Policy 2026-36 in Dehradun today. During the event, CM Dhami launched the Uttarakhand Aroma Revolution Policy. He stated that as a result of the unprecedented work done in various sectors, Uttarakhand is becoming an example for other states in the country. He expressed confidence that in the coming years, they will set an example for the entire country in the field of aroma revolution as well.
CM Dhami said that this scheme is dedicated to the farmers. Seven aroma crops will be developed, and five satellite centers are also being inaugurated. He added that several important MoUs are being signed today, which will provide a new direction to the cultivation of Timur (a type of spice). CM Dhami said that this policy will greatly benefit the farmers. Provisions have been made to assist farmers with packaging and branding.
CM Dhami said that under the able and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India is rapidly moving towards realizing the goal of becoming a developed nation. With this same resolve, the central government is also making numerous efforts to double the income of our farmers.
CM Dhami said that while more than 11 crore farmers across the country are being provided incentives through the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, on the other hand, the minimum support price for all major crops has been increased to ensure an increase in farmers’ income.
CM Dhami said that his government is also providing a subsidy of up to 80 percent on investments made in millet production to promote the production of millets in the state. He added that the Uttarakhand Aroma Revolution Policy will also strengthen the rural economy. CM Dhami reiterated that his government is working for the farmers.
