Uttarakhand: The Chief Minister approved a sum of ₹508 crore for various development schemes

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved the transfer of a total of ₹315 crore to all urban local bodies for the fourth quarterly installment of the financial year 2025-26, in accordance with the recommendations of the Fifth State Finance Commission. He has also approved the transfer of a total of ₹94 crore received from the Government of India for the first and second installments of the financial year 2024-25, in accordance with the recommendations of the 15th Finance Commission, to the concerned three-tier Panchayati Raj institutions in the financial year 2025-26.

The Chief Minister has also approved a ₹15 crore scheme for the state-funded Bhyol Rupsiabagar Hydroelectric Project (120 MW) under the Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited, covering the Net Present Value (NPV) and compensatory afforestation for the lease of forest land under the CAT Plan.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister has approved a ₹84 crore scheme for the construction of the “Development of Ecological Corridor at Naik Goth for Disaster Resilience (formerly known as Development of Road from Kiroda Nallah to River Front and Reclamation of Land along Kiroda Nallah)” under the Uttarakhand Investment and Infrastructure Development Board. He has also granted financial and administrative approval for the Mission for Self-Reliance in Pulses scheme under Agriculture and Farmers Welfare for the current financial year 2025-26.
