The Ankita Bhandari murder case is once again dominating Uttarakhand politics. The reason is a video by Urmila Sanawar, who claims to be the wife of former BJP MLA Suresh Rathore, in which she claims to be making new revelations. Following Urmila Sanawar’s video, a statement has now been issued by BJP National General Secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam. He has presented his side of the story regarding Urmila Sanawar’s allegations.

Dushyant Kumar Gautam said that he has dedicated 47 years of his life to the political and social spheres. He has always prioritized his moral values, the integrity of the Bharatiya Janata Party, and the respect of women and daughters in society. Until now, no such incident questioning his character has ever been raised.

“Today, I am coming before you with great sadness. Some anti-social and ill-intentioned people are trying to tarnish my image. I want to warn all such people. The way videos are circulating in the media and social media, and misinformation is being spread in my name, this matter should be investigated from where it originated. The facts should be obtained from that person, and the authenticity of those facts should be verified. I am ready for everything.”

Dushyant Kumar Gautam clarified that all those who have worked to tarnish his image will be investigated. He has also written a letter to the Home Department regarding this. Furthermore, a defamation suit will be filed against the person who orchestrated this conspiracy.

“If even a single word or action against me is found, present it with proof. I will retire from all aspects of my political, social, and religious life. But such conspiracies, which repeatedly use that girl’s name to defame her, are not right. This is also an attempt to defame my character. Such people should be prepared for legal action.”
