Angel Chakma Murder: Arrest likely today, Nepal police raid main accused’s house and other locations

The main accused in the Angel Chakma murder case, Raj Yagya Awasthi, has been on the run for the past 15 days. Police have not yet been able to arrest him. He is evading them. A police team has also been sent to Nepal to search for him. The Nepalese police are also searching his suspected hideouts. According to sources, the police are very close to apprehending the accused. It is expected that he will be in police custody by Friday night.

Main accused in Angel murder case likely to be arrested today
It is worth noting that on December 9, some youths attacked Angel Chakma with a sharp weapon in Selakui. After fighting for his life for 17 days, he died on December 26 during treatment. In this case, the police registered a case against six accused for attempted murder on December 14. After Chakma’s death, the charge was changed to murder.

Nepalese police raid the main accused’s house and other locations
The police have so far arrested five accused in this case. However, the main accused, Yagya Raj, is still at large. The Dehradun police are also making every effort to apprehend him. The Nepalese police are also assisting in the search for the accused. They are raiding the accused’s house and several other possible hideouts.

It is suspected that the accused is hiding somewhere in the border area. The police are trying to trace him. SSP Ajay Singh said that the accused will soon be in police custody.
