Case registered against Urmila in Haridwar
It is noteworthy that an audio recording of a conversation between former MLA Suresh Rathore and Urmila Sanawar went viral on social media recently. The audio revealed sensitive information related to the Ankita Bhandari case, triggering political and administrative turmoil across the state. Considering the seriousness of the matter, a case was registered against Suresh Rathore and Urmila Sanawar at Bahadrabad and Jhabrera police stations.
Urmila to hand over her phone to the SIT today
Taking into account the previously registered cases, the SSP had formed an SIT to investigate this matter. The SIT questioned Urmila Sanawar last Thursday, while former MLA Suresh Rathore was also questioned on Friday. During the questioning, Urmila Sanawar agreed to hand over her mobile phone for investigation.
