Uttarakhand: The people of Khatima received the gift of a high-tech bus terminal; CM Dhami inaugurated it and highlighted its benefits

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gifted the people of Khatima a state-of-the-art bus terminal. He inaugurated the bus terminal, built at a cost of approximately Rs. 11.27 crore. During the inauguration, CM Dhami said that it had been his childhood dream to have a high-tech bus terminal in Khatima. He had witnessed the difficulties faced at the bus station since his childhood. Therefore, after becoming the Chief Minister of the state, he has fulfilled his dream of constructing a modern bus terminal.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Maharana Pratap Bus Station in Khatima on Wednesday, January 14th, built at a cost of Rs. 11.27 crore. Nainital Lok Sabha MP Ajay Bhatt was also present with CM Dhami at the bus terminal inauguration ceremony. He said that on the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti, the people of Khatima have received the facility of a high-tech bus terminal. Now, the public will have greater convenience in catching buses and commuting.

Why was the Khatima bus terminal named Maharana Pratap Bus Station? CM Dhami said that he had previously announced that the bus terminal would be named after the brave Maharana Pratap. This is so that the younger generation can remember the name of the valiant Maharana Pratap and become familiar with his courage and valor. He assured the people of Khatima that he would not let there be any कमी (shortage/lack) in the development of Khatima.
