Major Accident! More than 50 miners trapped in coal mine late at night
According to local residents, around 1 AM, 50 to 60 laborers entered the mine operated by a man named Shakti in the forest near the Sanyasi Temple. They were illegally and unsafely extracting coal. During this process, some of the laborers cut through a supporting pillar inside the mine instead of the coal, causing the mine to collapse. This also caused the adjacent mines, operated by Gopal and Mintu, to collapse.
Miners trapped in the mine remain unaccounted for
Following the incident, many laborers are reported to be trapped inside the mine. It is believed that many may have died after being buried under the debris. The incident created a chaotic situation in the area.
Many bodies disposed of overnight
According to local residents, with the help of coal thieves, the mine operators quickly removed the trapped laborers from the mine. The bodies of those who died were also removed and disposed of overnight.
The collapsed mines were filled with bulldozers and JCB machines to prevent the administration from finding any evidence. It is being said that all the deceased laborers were from Bengal.
