Uttarakhand Congress state president Ganesh Godiyal has once again raised questions about the recommendation for a CBI investigation into the Ankita Bhandari murder case.
Government not serious about the investigation in the Ankita case: Congress
Speaking at a press conference in Delhi, Uttarakhand Congress state president Ganesh Godiyal alleged that the state government is not at all serious about the Ankita Bhandari murder case. Godiyal said that more than 15 days have passed since the announcement of a CBI investigation, but it is still not clear whether the case has been handed over to the CBI or not. No notification in this regard has been made public yet.
Demand to remove the SSP of Udham Singh Nagar from the Center
Along with the Ankita case, the Congress also targeted the Dhami government over the farmer suicide case in Kashipur. Godiyal said that before committing suicide, the farmer had made an emotional video leveling serious allegations against the district’s SSP Manikant Mishra. Despite this, the SSP has not been removed. Godiyal demanded that PM Modi remove the SSP of Udham Singh Nagar as soon as possible and register an FIR against him.
