Uttarakhand: Sri Peetham Installation Ceremony at Dol Ashram in Almora; Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami Performs ‘Kanya Pujan’ and ‘Abhishek’ of Goddess Rajeshwari

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Shri Peetham Establishment Festival held at the Dol Ashram, located in the Dol area of ​​the district. During the event, he performed puja (worship) of 1,100 young girls, conducted the abhishek (ritual bathing) and worship of Goddess Rajeshwari, and offered prayers for the happiness and prosperity of the state and the nation.

During the program, the Chief Minister inspected the Shri Yantra installed within the ashram premises, as well as the spiritual activities being conducted there. He remarked that beholding the world’s largest Shri Yantra, established at this site, evokes a profound spiritual experience.

Citing the spiritual practice and penance of Baba Kalyandas, the Chief Minister stated that, thanks to his efforts, this site has today been established as a prominent global hub for spiritual consciousness. He also lauded the work being undertaken by Baba Kalyandas to propagate spiritual teachings.

He observed that the Dol Ashram has evolved into a significant center of religious faith, spiritual practice, and cultural consciousness, where a large number of devotees arrive to experience spiritual peace. Furthermore, he noted that the state government is continuously working to promote spiritual tourism, and the year-on-year increase in the number of devotees undertaking the Char Dham Yatra stands as a testament to the improved arrangements in place.

Present on this occasion were Union Minister of State Ajay Tamta, MLA Mohan Singh Mehra, MLA Manoj Tiwari, former Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Govind Singh Kunjwal, BJP District President Mahesh Nayal, along with officials from the district administration and a large gathering of devotees.
