Uttarakhand: CM Dhami Takes a Firm Stance! Directs Officials to Take Action on Pending Announcements by June 15

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami adopted a strict stance regarding pending announcements. In this regard, he issued directives to officials to complete the work in a time-bound manner. Specifically, during a meeting held at the Secretariat in Dehradun, CM Dhami reviewed the announcements pertaining to various Legislative Assembly constituencies. He stated unequivocally that Government Orders (GOs) for those announcements that have not yet been issued must be released by June 15, 2026, under any circumstances.

CM Dhami Takes a Strict Stance! Directs Officials
CM Dhami directed that a Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) chart be prepared to ensure the time-bound completion and effective monitoring of the Chief Minister’s announcements. He further instructed that issues related to electricity, drinking water, forest fires, human-wildlife conflict, and roads be resolved by the respective departments as expeditiously as possible.

Action on Pending Announcements by June 15
Special emphasis is to be placed on improving healthcare facilities. Officials were directed to take the issues raised by MLAs regarding their respective constituencies seriously and to resolve them on a priority basis. Government Orders for announcements that have not yet been issued must be released by June 15, 2026. All departments are required to resolve public grievances through mutual coordination.

Directives to Construct Hostels for Girls
During the meeting, announcements pertaining to the Yamkeshwar, Pauri, Srinagar, Chaubattakhal, Lansdowne, and Kotdwar constituencies were reviewed. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami issued directives to construct hostels for girls in every development block and asked for suitable locations to be identified for this purpose.

These Temples to be Developed as a Grand Religious Circuit
He stated that the Raghunath Temple, the Lakshman Temple (located in Kot Block), and the Sita Mata Temple (located in Phalswari) should be grandly developed as a religious circuit.

Directives Issued to Construct a Multipurpose Hall in Pauri
The Chief Minister directed that, regarding proposals submitted by MLAs for the establishment of Kendriya Vidyalayas (Central Schools), the Education Department and the concerned District Magistrates must ensure that all necessary actions are taken in strict compliance with the standards set by the Central Government. This is to ensure that the proposals receive prompt approval once they are submitted to the Central Government. A multi-purpose hall should be constructed in Pauri to facilitate the preparation of young people for competitive examinations.

Ropeway Projects to be Reviewed Separately
The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that the respective departmental secretaries resolve, on a priority basis, the issues raised by the legislators during the meeting. He stated that ropeway projects related to the Chief Minister’s announcements should be reviewed separately. Furthermore, parking-related issues should be resolved on a priority basis, and solar panels should be installed regularly in government offices.
