Uttarakhand: Media coordinator Rajiv Maharshi responds to allegations of factionalism within the Congress, stating that all leaders are united
Dismissing allegations of factionalism within the party, Uttarakhand Congress media coordinator Rajiv Maharshi stated that all Congress leaders are working unitedly. He alleged that the BJP is attempting to create a perception of discord and infighting among Congress leaders through the public and social media.
Commending the state Congress leadership, Maharshi described State President Ganesh Godiyal as an affable, simple, and sensible leader, and Leader of the Opposition Yashpal Arya as an experienced and mature leader. He noted that senior leaders such as Harish Rawat, Pritam Singh, Harak Singh Rawat, and Karan Mahara are capable of handling both their respective constituencies and election management.
He stated that under the leadership of state in-charge Shailaja, the party’s primary objective is to form a Congress government in the 2027 assembly elections. To achieve this, emphasis is being placed on strengthening the organization and prioritizing issues that concern the public.
According to Rajiv Maharshi, the Congress will move forward by prioritizing key issues such as the youth, women’s safety, Minimum Support Price (MSP) for farmers, and the interests of backward classes and the most marginalized sections of society.
