NABARD will give a loan of 30 thousand crores to Uttarakhand this year, CM Dhami released the focus report

NABARD will give a loan of 30 thousand crores for development in various sectors including agriculture, infrastructure, MSME in Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami released the focus report of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) on Tuesday. He also instructed the banks to do better work in these schemes, monitoring of all. CM Dhami started NABARD’s State Credit Seminar 2023-24 on Tuesday at Subhash Road hotel. He said that in the new financial year, NABARD would be able to give a loan of Rs 30301 crore to the state, which is 6.22 percent more than the previous year. This will prove effective in increasing the livelihood of our farmers, people engaged in horticulture and small scale industries.
The CM said that the needy should not face any problem in taking loans. Banks will have to pay attention to making loans easily accessible to the deserving people. They have to work on mission mode. Last year, NABARD approved 4515 projects worth ten thousand crore rupees to the state, for which the CM expressed gratitude. He said that special attention should be paid to increasing loan allocation in three loan deficient districts of Rudraprayag, Bageshwar and Tehri.
CM Dhami said that whatever proposals are made at the international level under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi are taken seriously. India is chairing the G-20 summit this year. This is a good opportunity for the country to promote ‘Local for Global’. Two important meetings of G-20 are also proposed in Uttarakhand. On India’s proposal, the United Nations General Assembly has also declared the year 2023 as the International Millet Year. This will give a rapid boost to our coarse grains. He expressed gratitude to PM Modi even for giving approval from the Central Government to buy Manduva at the minimum support price. On this occasion, Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi, Cooperative Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Officer-in-Charge of NABARD Dr. Suman Kumar, Regional Director RBI Lata Vishwanath etc. officers were present.
