UP government’s gift, loan waiver of 33 thousand farmers, order issued

The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has given a big gift in the new year to more than 33 thousand farmers of 19 districts. Rs 190 crore loan of farmers is being waived by the government. The loan of Rs 190 crore of 33000 farmers of 19 districts is being waived off by the state government.

Gazette issued regarding loan waiver

After the formation of CM Yogi’s government in the year 2017, the decision of loan waiver of farmers was taken in the cabinet. Under which the loan of lakhs of farmers was waived. During that time all the farmers who were left out due to some reason. Now the loan of Rs 190 crore of those 33408 farmers will also be waived. The Yogi government has also issued a gazette in this regard.

Relief decision for farmers

Let us tell you that due to natural calamities like flood and sometimes drought, the crops of the farmers get ruined. In such a situation, farmers are not able to waive off the agricultural loan if they are not able to make a profit. The government’s decision of loan waiver will bring relief to the farmers. However, the period of taking the loan should be before the year 2016.

Some farmers did not get loan waiver due to technical flaws

During the loan waiver in UP in the year 2017, due to technical flaws, the loan of some farmers could not be waived off. Some of these farmers had gone to the High Court. The High Court had ordered these farmers to be given the benefit of loan waiver. After this, the Yogi government has decided to waive the loans of other farmers who are eligible for loan waiver along with these farmers.
