Uttarakhand: STF will arrest 36 fake doctors practicing in the state, raids on clinics

STF has selected Team-11 to arrest fake doctors practicing in the state. An 11-member team has been deputed to raid clinics in various districts. Apart from this, a team is also investigating in the Medical Council of India. Information is being collected from the Council regarding various matters.Trending Videos

Let us inform that on Wednesday STF arrested two fake doctors from Dehradun. These fake doctors were practicing in Raipur and Premnagar for the last 10 years by taking a fake degree from a University in Karnataka. Along with this, the STF also arrested Imran, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, a broker who sold degrees to him. Apart from this, the STF had claimed that there are 36 more such doctors in the state, who are playing with the health of the people by running their business on the basis of fake degrees.

It is also feared that many of these may be in government services as well. The STF is also probing the role of IMAC i.e. Medical Council of India officials in this case. However, the name of any officer or employee has not been revealed yet. At present, the focus of STF is on arresting all fake doctors.

For this, a team of 11 members has been formed including two sub-inspectors. Soon some more doctors may be arrested. It is being told that many doctors practicing in Dehradun have removed BAMS from their boards.
