ISRO removed the picture of landslide on the request of Uttarakhand minister, said – an atmosphere of fear was being created
On the request of Uttarakhand Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) removed the satellite images of the Joshimath landslide. Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat told that he had requested the Director of ISRO regarding this matter.
It was said by the minister that an atmosphere of fear is being created in the state in these pictures. After which the said pictures were removed from the website by ISRO. It may be mentioned that Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat is also the in-charge minister of Chamoli district and at present he is camping in Joshimath in case of disaster.
