Uttarakhand: CM Dhami reviews development works in Haldwani, advises officers for zero pendency
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a review meeting with the officials of Nainital district in Haldwani. During this, the Chief Minister bluntly said that the departments should not put the work on each other. The department whose responsibility is, should complete that work with the standards on time. Along with this, Dhami instructed the officers to work on the strategy of zero pendency.
In the meeting, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that any kind of negligence and pendency will not be tolerated at all in whatever development works are being done for the public. Many times it is also heard that any kind of development work is being hindered due to corruption, so it should be ensured that any work is done on the policy of zero tolerance within the state.
The Chief Minister said that if any officer is found guilty in the matter of corruption, he can be complained on 1064 number. Efforts are being made to make this number more powerful. CM Dhami said that the officers should also listen carefully to the words of public representatives and find a positive solution for them.
At the same time, on the smuggling of illegal liquor in the state, the Chief Minister said that cognizance will be taken of the matter. If there is any delay in this matter, strict action will be taken against him. Earlier, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the Sewer Treatment Plant and Legacy Waste Plant in Haldwani built at a cost of about 40 crores.
