Sikhs furious over the insult of the tricolor in London, protested fiercely outside the British High Commission in Delhi

On Monday, people of the Sikh community protested against the humiliating act of Khalistan supporters against the tricolor in the Indian High Commission in London. He demanded the concerned authorities to take action against these accused and ensure proper security of the Indian Embassy in the United Kingdom.
Hundreds of people from the Sikh community gathered outside the British High Commission in New Delhi to register their displeasure against the pro-Khalistan protest that took place in London a day earlier. These people were raising slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’.
BJP leader Majinder Singh Sirsa also released a video of himself expressing displeasure against the attempt to bring down the Indian flag. He said, ‘The people of the Sikh community have made the country proud by their good deeds by going abroad, but there are some people who, acting on the orders of anti-India agencies, do such things which cause pain to the Sikhs sitting in India. It happens and it’s a pity too! India is our pride and our tricolor is our pride.

BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa appealed to the international Sikh community to stand against such “anti-India” incidents. Sending a message to Khalistani supporters, Sirsa said that Sikhs love India. He urged the British government to take action against those who insulted the Indian flag.
A person involved in this protest said that what happened in Britain was wrong. He said, ‘The Khalistani flag was hoisted instead of the Indian flag, which is wrong because we are Sikhs of India and we love India.’ Another protester said, ‘We are against Khalistan. I want to appeal to all the members of the Sikh community that before replacing the Indian tricolor with the Khalistani flag, think once that how Indian you are.
Let us tell you that the tricolor hoisted over the Indian High Commission in London was pulled down on Sunday evening by a group of protesters waving separatist Khalistani flags and raising pro-Khalistani slogans. Following the vandalism in the Indian mission in the UK, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) summoned the senior-most UK diplomat to New Delhi late on Sunday evening to express India’s “strong protest” at the actions by separatist and extremist elements.
