Home Minister Amit Shah on Haridwar tour, inaugurated computerization work of multipurpose cooperative societies in 670 justice panchayats across the state

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Uttarakhand today on Thursday. He attended three programs in Haridwar. He said that on the next Ram Navami, Lord Shri Ram will be seated in the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. There, he launched various schemes of the Cooperative Department. He started the work of computerization of multipurpose cooperative societies in 670 justice panchayats across the state from Rishikul Maidan, Haridwar. With the launch of this scheme, farmers across the state will be able to get various facilities under one roof through committees. Along with this, he also inaugurated the establishment of Jan Suvidha Kendra and Jan Aushadhi Kendras in 95 MPEX of the state. Progressive farmers who have done excellent work in the field of agriculture and horticulture were felicitated in the programme. Along with this, check distribution was also done to the beneficiaries who got loans at zero interest rate under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kisan Kalyan Yojana.

Earlier, Amit Shah reached the 113th convocation ceremony of Gurukul Kangri University. Here he awarded gold medals to 182 students and PhD degrees to 181 students. Registrar of the University Prof. Sunil Kumar told that in the 113th convocation of the university, about 1800 students of 8 years were honored with bachelors, masters, PG diplomas, PhDs and gold medals. Students from the year 2014 to the year 2022 were invited to confer degrees at the convocation.
