Uttarakhand / Mussoorie: Damage due to heavy rains, many vehicles buried under debris

The process of heavy rains continues across the state. Due to the rain, there has been waterlogging on the roads at many places, while the temperature has also dropped. Meanwhile, heavy damage has been caused due to rain in Mussoorie. Here, near Kempty Road, many vehicles have been buried under the debris due to the collapse of a heavy embankment. According to the information, three vehicles have been completely damaged due to falling of pillars while two other vehicles have also been damaged.
According to the Meteorological Department, even today (Friday), with the weather changing, there is a possibility of light to heavy rain with thunder and cloud cover in Doon. Strong winds can also blow at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour in Doon. The maximum and minimum temperature will be around 24 degrees and 16 degrees.
The weather suddenly changed its course and it rained heavily on Thursday night across the state. Due to the rain, there was waterlogging on the roads at many places, while the temperature also dropped. Due to the strong wind here, electricity was also cut off due to damage to the line in many places. Heavy rains have thrown life out of gear in Mussoorie.
