Health Secretary Dr R Rajesh Kumar appealed to follow the protocol of COVID-19

On the occasion of World Health Day, Secretary/Commissioner Food Safety and Drug Administration, Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar while expressing his gratitude to the health workers of the state has appealed to the people of the state to follow the protocol of COVID-19. He said that World Health Day is the day to show our gratitude and appreciation to all the people who are working day and night to keep us healthy. Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar has appealed to the general public of the state for health for all. Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar said that nowadays people’s life is becoming comfortable, which is painful for the body. People should do regular exercise and morning walk. Living a comfortable life increases sugar, blood pressure and obesity. These days these diseases have become common. The main reason for this is not working and working outside the regular routine.
Appealing to the general public, Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar said that lifestyle changes are very important to avoid non-communicable diseases. He said that we can keep the body healthy to a great extent by adopting proper diet, regular exercise and reducing the consumption of foods made of oil, sugar, salt and transfat. Appealing to the general public, he said that we should be brought into daily use. While buying food items (packaged flour, oil, sugar, salt and milk) must look for the +F mark.
It was informed by the Commissioner Food Safety that in order to increase public awareness regarding safe diet and to bring coarse grain-based products into circulation, public awareness programs, e-trade fairs and workshops are being organized on a wide scale. It was also informed by Commissioner Food Safety and Drug Administration, Uttarakhand that institutional efforts are being made to ensure the quality of food and medicines in the state, along with appeal to the common man that safe diet is the basis of health, hence safe Be a food conscious consumer and avoid food borne diseases.
He said that it is very important to follow health rules in life. He told that on the basis of balanced diet, regular exercise, we can take better care of our health. Secretary/Commissioner Food Safety and Drug Administration talked about motivating the people deprived of corona vaccination to get corona vaccination and taking a pledge to stay away from drugs for better physical and mental health.

This year’s theme reflects the thought that health is a basic human right and everyone should have access to health services when and where they need it, regardless of financial difficulties. This year also marks WHO’s 75th anniversary, so to make the day special, WHO will also look at public health breakthroughs that have improved the quality of life over the past seven decades.
