‘Bomb threat’ creates stir in Delhi school, campus evacuated; bomb squad team on the spot
A threatening email was received from inside The Indian School in Defense Colony, Delhi, that a bomb had been planted inside the school. After this, the parents are being called in a hurry and the children are being sent home.
At the same time, the bomb disposal squad has also reached inside the school. Along with this, the local police is also investigating the whole matter. The cyber team of the police is engaged in the investigation to gather information related to the email.
Bomb threat received through E-mail
The bomb threat email was received at the school at 10.49 am today. The school management immediately informed the local police about this. Soon after, Delhi Police personnel, Bomb Disposal Squad and Dog Squad team reached the spot. The school was evacuated and the premises thoroughly searched, but so far no bomb has been found. A school teacher told that some mischievous children could be behind this act.
This has happened before
Significantly, this is not the first time, but even before this such incident has happened in this school. On November 28, 2022, there was chaos due to the information about the bomb in The Indian School. On information, the local police, bomb disposal squad and dog squad reached the spot and after evacuating the school, the entire school was investigated. During this time no bomb was found in the school.
