PM Modi’s visit to Uttarakhand for National Games, SPG advance team reached Dehradun, took stock of security arrangements

National Games are going to be held for the first time in Uttarakhand, for which preparations are going on in full swing. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will inaugurate the 38th National Games in Dehradun on 28 January. In view of PM Modi’s visit to Dehradun, tight security arrangements are being made. In this sequence, on Friday, 24 January, the advance team of SPG (Special Security Group) reached the venue Silver Jubilee Sports Complex Dehradun.

During this time, officials of the police department were also present along with the district administration. According to the information received from the officials, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Maharana Pratap Sports College on 28 January at 3:30 pm. After this, he will hold a meeting of officials for about 2 hours in the Prime Minister’s Office built in the Sports College.

After the meeting is over, at around 6:00 pm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach the International Cricket Stadium built in the Maharana Sports College campus. Where the opening ceremony program is being organized to launch the National Games. Therefore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 38th National Games on the ground of the International Cricket Stadium.

SPG advance team reaches Dehradun

At present, on Friday, January 24, the advance team of SPG reached Maharana Sports College in Dehradun, where they examined all the arrangements. Along with inspecting the Prime Minister’s Office, the advance team of SPG also saw the security arrangements at the entry gate of the campus and also reviewed the arrangements of the International Stadium complex where the opening ceremony is to be held. Emphasis is being laid on completing the arrangements as per the standards that are set for the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
