The IMA said, “The recent increase in cases of corona virus infection in our country could be due to the careless attitude towards Covid-19, low testing rate and emergence of a new variant of Covid.” The Indian Medical Association has asked people to take precautions.

Announcement of nationwide mock drill

At the same time, the Ministry of Health has announced a nationwide mock drill on Monday and Tuesday to review the preparedness in hospitals across the country. At the same time, on Monday, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya reached Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi on the first day of the mock drill. The Health Minister inspected the preparations of the hospital during the mock drill.

There is bad news about Corona. Within the last 24 hours, a record number of corona patients have been identified in the country. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, seven thousand 830 people have been found infected within a day on Tuesday, which is the highest in 223 days. With this, the number of active cases in the country has also crossed 40 thousand. Now there are 40 thousand 215 patients in the country who are infected. They are either admitted to the hospital or are getting their treatment done by staying at home.

More than two lakh tests, 16 deaths

According to the Ministry of Health, two lakh 14 thousand 242 people got the corona test done on Tuesday. In this, 3.65 i.e. 7,830 people were found infected. According to statistics, 16 people also died due to the infection in the last 24 hours. Two infected people lost their lives in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, while one death each was recorded in Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Haryana and Gujarat. Kerala recorded five deaths. So far five lakh 31 thousand 16 people have died due to infection in the country.
