Uttarakhand: Important role of media in making general public aware of COVID – Health Secretary

Uttaranchal Press Club Executive Dr. R Rajesh Kumar, Secretary, Health met. Press Club President Ajay Rana thanked Secretary Health for the health camp organized in the Press Club and presented a memento on behalf of the club. Dr. R Rajesh Kumar said that the Health Department always gets cooperation from journalists. Even during the COVID period, journalists did a good job in collaboration with the Health Department. Secretary Health has appealed to the general public to follow ÇOVID-19, along with he has appealed to the media to make people more and more aware to follow COVID rules.
On this occasion, the Health Secretary directed the officials that health camps should be organized twice a year in the Press Club for journalists and their families and for this a calendar should be issued with a fixed date, so that health camps can be organized every year at a fixed time. .
On this occasion, Press Club President Ajay Rana, Club General Secretary Vikas Gusain, Treasurer Manish Chandra Bhatt, Senior Vice President Rashmi Khatri, Junior Vice President Darwan Singh as well as Principal of Doon Medical College Dr. Ashutosh Sayana, Dr. Ajay Nagarkar, Program Officer NHM and Anil Sati IEC Officer, NHM were present.
