‘…so will you go to court against the court too?’, Law Minister Kiren Rijiju’s tweet on Delhi CM Kejriwal
Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal has been summoned by the CBI for questioning in the liquor scam case. There is a political ruckus in Delhi over summons being sent to Kejriwal. The rhetoric continues. On the one hand, the Aam Aadmi Party is terming it as a conspiracy by the BJP to arrest Kejriwal, on the other hand, the BJP is also a constant attacker on AAP and Kejriwal.
In the midst of all this, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has targeted a tweet by Arvind Kejriwal and said that if the court also goes against you, will you go to court against the court? Actually, Arvind Kejriwal had made a tweet on Saturday afternoon. In which he wrote, “We will file a case against the officers of CBI and ED for giving false testimony and presenting false evidence in the courts.”

Responding to his tweet, Kiren Rijiju wrote, “Forgot to mention that if the honorable court finds you guilty, you will file a case against him as well. Let the law take its course and we should have faith in the law.” He further wrote, “Will you go to court against ED, CBI and if the court also goes against you, then will you go against the court as well?”
‘The phone with CBI is not of Sisodia’
Please tell that Arvind Kejriwal has targeted ED and CBI regarding Sisodia. He said that the BJP is shouting that it is a liquor scam. Leaving all the work, all the agencies are engaged in its investigation, but what was found in the investigation? ED and CBI alleged that Manish Sisodia broke 14 phones, while ED’s document has written 3 IMEI numbers of 14 phones. According to ED Caesar Memo, 4 phones are with ED and 1 phone is with CBI, the remaining 9 phones are alive, someone or the other is using them. It is not Manish Sisodia’s phone.

What has the agency found so far in the investigation?
Arvind Kejriwal said what the agency got in the investigation so far? CBI and ED have submitted wrong affidavits before the court. By torturing and giving third degree, these people want to provoke people to take the names of Kejriwal and Sisodia. What is happening? Why are you torturing the people of CBI and ED?
Kejriwal said that they talk about a bribe of 100 crores, but someone tell where the money has gone? More than 400 raids were conducted, but nothing was found. They only make allegations. Liquor policy was a wonderful policy, which we implemented in Delhi.
What did ED say in the court?
The ED had told the Rouse Avenue court that there was a large-scale disturbance in the excise policy. Most of the suspects, liquor barons, senior government officials, Delhi’s Excise Minister (Manish Sisodia) and other suspects have changed their phones several times. The estimated value of the phone-devices used and destroyed by the accused is around Rs 1.38 crore.
