A shocking incident has come to light from Odisha’s Kenuapada. A woman died at Sinapali Health Center in the district. After the death, the relatives of the deceased tried repeatedly to contact the hearse vehicle to take the dead body but could not be contacted. In the end, the family members had to carry the dead body on a stretcher for 8 kilometers after getting tired.

Death occurred during treatment at the health center

According to the information, Saraswati Sa, wife of Lambodar Sa of Sinapali Block, was taken ill by her family members to Sinapali Community Health Center. Saraswati died during treatment at the health center. After the death, the relatives tried to contact the hearse vehicle to take the body home, but could not be contacted.

Waited for hours, Mahaprayan vehicle did not come

Saraswati had died at 8 o’clock in the night but the dead body remained at the health center till 12.30 o’clock waiting for the hearse. Eventually, the relatives brought a stretcher from the hospital after being disappointed and took the dead body on the stretcher to their village, eight kilometers away from the health center. After this incident, people are questioning the state government’s funeral vehicle.

What did the CDMO say on the inhuman incident

On this inhuman incident, CDMO Chaudhuri Shobharani Mishra said that we have arranged vehicles to pick up the patients. Mahaparayan vehicles have not been provided at Sinapali Health Center, but all arrangements have been made by the Health Center. However, the relatives of the deceased took the dead body on a stretcher after coming to the words of other people.
