Khalistani supporter and Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh has been arrested by the police in Punjab. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has reacted to this. Kejriwal said that he is committed to peace and security in Punjab and is also ready to take tough decisions for this. He said that the Punjab government has given a strong message to those who tried to break law and order by arresting Khalistani Amritpal Singh.

Delhi CM Kejriwal further said that continuous action was being taken against Amritpal’s close friends for the last one month. Raids were conducted at Amritpal’s bases. After this, there was no option left in front of him and he had to be arrested. He said that Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has accomplished this mission with great maturity and courage. Punjab Police has achieved this success without any bloodshed and firing in the entire mission. He has thanked the people of Punjab for maintaining peace and supporting the Punjab government during the entire mission.
