The case pertains to Jarangdih of Bermo under Bokaro thermal police station area of Bokaro district. Where a 19-year-old youth gave his life in the insistence of a mobile worth 40 thousand. The deceased Himanshu Kathara was the only son of Rajendra Rai working in coal washery.
Depression in youth due to mobile phone
In recent times, the addiction of mobile phones among the youth has become such that the addiction is not being released. Mobile phone has become like an addiction. The complaint of depression among the youth has increased due to mobile. Children are becoming irritable. Kathara’s recent case related to Himanshu is a great example of this. Himanshu, the only son of Rajendra Rai working in Kathara Coal Washery under Bokaro Thermal, was a student of Intermediate. A day before, Himanshu had insisted on getting a mobile phone from his father for Rs 40,000. But father refused saying that when you will go to higher class, then you will buy such a mobile phone as per your need. At present, it was said to buy a mobile phone worth 15 to 20 thousand. But Himanshu was adamant that if he would take the mobile phone, the one there would cost 40,000. Angered by his father’s refusal, Himanshu ate a sleeping pill kept by his mother.
Death during treatment
As soon as the father came to know, he was taken to CCL’s Kathara Regional Hospital with the help of the local people. Where Himanshu died during treatment. There was chaos in the house due to the death of the only son of the house. The whole area became inconsolable due to the shouting of the parents. The relatives are trying to pacify the parents. But how can the only lamp in the house go off even if you are complacent, it is not a small matter. After getting the news of the incident, the local police reached the spot and after questioning, the dead body was recovered. Sent for postmortem.
