The voice of ‘Punjab Bandh’ raised again from Mohali, people protesting said – ‘Will do on June 12…’

A morcha has been set up in Mohali, Punjab. In this front, the people of Dalit society are protesting. The demand of these people is that the general caste people are doing government jobs by making fake certificates of Dalit community and taking all government benefits. Action should be taken against them. Today, a meeting was going to be held with CM Bhagwant Mann on this issue, but due to some reason this meeting could not be held.

Meeting with CM’s OSD
Due to non-availability of a meeting with CM Mann, a meeting of the people sitting on the dharna was held with his OSD Navraj Brar, but no meaningful result could be obtained from this meeting. Angered by this, the people of the front have announced a Punjab bandh on June 12.

People have been sitting on dharna for a long time
Let us tell you that on May 1, on Labor Day, a huge meeting was organized to get the fake caste certificates cancelled. The Morcha Committee had declared war against the Punjab government demanding cancellation of fake SC certificates. Morcha’s professor Harnek Singh had said that his protest will continue until those with fake certificates are punished according to the constitution.

Resolutions were passed unanimously
A unanimous resolution was passed by the people sitting on the front saying that if the leaders speaking in favor of fake certificate holders do not desist, then their houses will be raided. A demand was made to investigate the properties of the officers posted in the Vigilance Monitoring Committee. Apart from this, a demand was made that a law should be passed during the assembly session, in which there should be a provision of punishment of 5 years for using fake certificates.
