Bomb threat in plane going from Iran to China, Indian agencies alert

Indian agencies have become active after the bomb threat on the Iranian plane. This threatening call came when the plane was passing through Indian airspace. It is being told that the information about the bomb in the plane was given by Lahore ATC. Mahan Air’s flight from Tehran to Guangzhou, China spoke to Delhi Airport ATC.

ATC sources said that Mahan Air’s flight from Tehran to Guangzhou in China had spoken to Delhi Airport ATC. As soon as the pilot of the plane received a bomb threat call, he contacted Delhi ATC. Delhi ATC advised the plane to land in Jaipur but the pilot refused and took off from Indian airspace.

Sources said that at 9.20 am, the Delhi Police received a call threatening to plant a bomb in the Mahan Airplane of Iran. The plane was in Indian airspace when the call came. ATC sources said that Mahan Air had sought permission from Delhi ATC for immediate landing. Delhi ATC asked the plane to go to Jaipur. After this the pilot of the aircraft did not do so and later he exited the Indian airspace.
