Flood situation worsens in Assam, more than 32,400 people affected, crops destroyed, animals killed

The situation is very bad due to floods in Assam. More than 32,400 people have been affected in Biswanath district. Due to which the life of these areas has been affected. The crops have also suffered a lot due to the flood.
More than 72,300 domestic animals affected
It is being told that 22,417 people have been affected in Gohpur areas due to the flood. Around 10,000 people have been affected in Halem areas. At the same time, 47 villages under Biswanath sub-division have been submerged. And 858 hectares of crops have been destroyed.
Water in houses increased up to 3 feet
In Gohpur area, the water level inside the houses of the people has increased up to 3 feet. Due to which people are facing a lot of problems. The people there are now expecting help from the government due to rising water level. 1.08 lakh people in 385 villages under 31 revenue circles of 15 districts and two sub-divisions were affected by the floods in the state. It was told that 4168.40 hectare crop area has been submerged due to flood water.
More than 72,300 domestic animals affected
The administration has set up 22 relief camps and 71 relief distribution centers in the flood-affected districts, where 4,275 people are now taking shelter. At the same time, more than 72,300 domestic animals have been affected by the flood. In several districts, flood waters have destroyed three embankments, 42 roads, culverts, irrigation canals, anganwadi centers and school buildings. At the same time, seven people have lost their lives due to floods in the state.
