PM hoisted the tricolor at the Red Fort, congratulated the countrymen

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the Red Fort on Tuesday morning on the occasion of 77th Independence Day, where he unfurled the national flag on this historic rampart for the 10th consecutive time. After this, 21 gun salute was given.
Earlier, the Prime Minister was received by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and the three service chiefs on his arrival at the Red Fort. After reaching the Red Fort, the Prime Minister inspected the Guard of Salute. Thereafter, he was received by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt, Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pandey, Chief of Navy Admiral R Hari Kumar and Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhary.
As the Prime Minister unfurled the National Flag, two Advanced Light Helicopters Mark-III Dhruv of the Indian Air Force showered flowers at the venue. The Prime Minister is now addressing the nation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated the countrymen on the 77th Independence Day and called upon them to strengthen their resolve to make India a developed nation by the year 2047.
He said on the social networking site ‘X’, ‘ Many many happy Independence Day wishes to all of you. Come, on this historic occasion, strengthen the resolve of a developed India in Amritkal. Jai Hind!’
