The soldier accused of firing in the train was mentally fine; Disclosure in charge sheet; Four people were shot in Jaipur-Mumbai Express in July

On July 31, RPF constable Chetan Singh shot and killed three people, including an ASI, with his service rifle. This incident happened in Jaipur-Mumbai Central Superfast Express. At that time it was being said that the mental balance of the accused was not good, due to which he did this.

The Railway Police (GRP), which is investigating the case, filed a charge sheet in connection with the incident. In which it was told that at the time of the incident, Chetan Singh was completely mentally healthy and he knew what he was doing.

1000 page charge sheet filed in court
The GRP filed a 1000-page chargesheet before a local court in Mumbai. According to GRP, this charge sheet has been prepared after recording the statements of more than 150 witnesses.

According to GRP officials, they recorded the statements of three such witnesses before the Borivali Metropolitan Magistrate court under section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The investigators also relied on CCTV footage from inside the train, where Chetan Singh is seen roaming between the coaches.

Earlier it was being said that the accused is angry and mentally unstable
After the incident, initially the accused constable was said to be angry and mentally unstable. The constable had made any comment about Muslims, this was opposed by the ASI. On this very matter the accused shot him.

After this, three passengers were also murdered. It is heard in the video that the accused constable is saying many abusive words about Muslims and Pakistan.

The train was going from Gujarat to Maharashtra at the time of the incident
A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable shot his fellow Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) with his automatic rifle in Jaipur-Mumbai Express (12956) on Monday (July 31) morning. After this he went to another compartment and shot three passengers also.

At the time of the incident the train was going from Gujarat to Maharashtra. The firing took place in coach B-5 of the train near Palghar railway station. The soldier was arrested along with his rifle. The bodies of all four were found in different coaches. Two bodies were found from B5, a pantry car and a B1 coach.

ASI and constable were on escort duty
According to RPF, the incident took place on the morning of July 31 at around 5.23 am. Accused constable Chetan Kumar Chaudhary and ASI Tika Ram Meena were on escort duty. After firing at Tika Ram, Chetan shot 3 more passengers. After this he got down from the train near Dahisar station and ran away.

Killed ASI who was about to retire after 6 months
The accused person is a resident of Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, the killed ASI was from Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan. He was going to retire after 6 months.

The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
