He directed to complete the roads as per the target by 30th November to complete the pothole free campaign. Along with this, the fact also came to light in the meeting that instead of the length of the entire roadways, the target of only 30 percent of the roads has been set by PWD for the pothole free campaign. The condition of roads will not improve if the target is set at 30 percent. Apart from this, there are some roads which require asphalting instead of patch repair. CM asked PWD to set a target of making 50 percent of the total road length pothole free and send proposals in the first phase and to send proposals for the roads which require asphalting.
While instructing the officers, the CM said that they should have information about their under-construction projects in the tips. Officers should attend the meeting by doing their homework before attending the meeting. He instructed the Commissioner for regular monitoring to review the ongoing works in Kumaon so that quality work can be completed on time. The schemes should also be followed up at the government level.

For this, people should be made aware by taking cooperation from Police Department, Ayurvedic, Health Department, Yuvak Mangal Dal, Mahila Mangal Dal and other organizations. He said that those who have become addicted to drugs should be identified and they should also be given counselling. Our efforts should be to ensure that the person who has given up drug addiction does not fall into the trap of addiction again.
