Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Shirdi and offered prayers at Saibaba’s temple

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Shirdi where he offered prayers and prayers at the Saibaba temple. Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais, CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis were also present along with Prime Minister Modi. PM Modi will launch ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi Yojana’ during his Maharashtra tour. Along with this, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth about Rs 7,500 crore in Maharashtra.
Inauguration of new Darshan queue complex
After offering prayers at Saibaba temple, PM Modi will also inaugurate the new Darshan Qatar complex. The Prime Minister will perform Jal Pujan of the Nilwande Dam and dedicate a canal network of the dam to the nation. At a public event in Shirdi, he will inaugurate several development projects worth about Rs 7500 crore in sectors like health, rail, roads and oil and gas, dedicate some to the nation and lay the foundation stone of some others.
The Prime Minister had laid the foundation stone of the Darshan Qatar Complex in Shirdi in October 2018. The canal network on the left bank of Nilwande Dam (85 kilometres) which the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation will benefit 182 villages in seven tehsils (six in Ahmednagar district and one from Nashik district) by providing water piped distribution network. It is being developed at a cost of about Rs 5177 crore.
Launch of ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi Yojana’
During the public event, the Prime Minister will launch the ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi Yojana’. This scheme will benefit more than 86 lakh beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Maharashtra by providing an additional amount of Rs 6,000 per year. The Prime Minister will inaugurate and dedicate to the nation several development projects including the AYUSH Hospital at Ahmednagar Civil Hospital. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the Maternal and Child Health Wing at Ahmednagar Civil Hospital. During the program, the Prime Minister will also distribute Ayushman cards and ownership cards to the beneficiaries.
PM Modi will inaugurate the 37th National Games
After Maharashtra, he will leave for Goa where he will inaugurate the 37th National Games at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao. He will also address the athletes participating in the Games. The National Games are being held in Goa for the first time. The games will be organized from October 26 to November 9. Over 10,000 athletes from across the country will compete in over 43 sporting disciplines across 28 venues.
