Union Minister Prahlad Patel narrowly escapes road accident, one person dead, three injured

Union Minister Prahlad Patel became victim of a road accident on Tuesday. However, during this time he narrowly escaped. He has suffered minor injuries. But a 35 year old man has died in this incident. Apart from this, three people are said to be injured. Union Minister Patel’s convoy was going from Chhindwara towards Narsinghpur. During this time his vehicle suddenly went off the road. It is being said that this accident happened while trying to save the person riding the bike. The Union Minister is in Chhindwara for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. He was returning back to Narsinghpur after a public relations campaign from Chhindwara when this accident happened. Let us tell you that Prahlad Patel is also a candidate from Narsinghpur. It is being said that this accident happened in an effort to save the bike driver.

Who is Union Minister Prahlad Patel?

Prahlad Singh Patel is the Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti of India since 7 July 2021. He is an MP from Damoh Lok Sabha constituency of Madhya Pradesh. Prahlad Singh Patel was first elected to the 9th Lok Sabha in 1989 and was re-elected to the 11th Lok Sabha in 1996, 13th Lok Sabha in 1999 from Balaghat, 16th Lok Sabha in 2014 and Damoh in 2019 to the 17th Lok Sabha.

He was elected MP from Madhya Pradesh constituency for the first time on BJP ticket. In May 2019, Patel became the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture and Tourism. He was elected to the Lok Sabha from Damoh, Madhya Pradesh in 2019 as a BJP member.
