There was panic in Manipur on Sunday when people saw aliens in the sky. An unidentified flying object (UFO) was seen hovering. After this, there was chaos at Imphal airport for about 3 hours. According to media reports, information about the matter was given to Air Traffic Control (ATC). Till the clearance was received, no flight took off or landed from Imphal Airport. The routes of 2 flights going to Kolkata were diverted. Landing of 3 flights was delayed. Imphal’s airspace and flight operations were also immediately closed. Whereas the Airport Authority of India (AAI) handed over the control of Imphal airspace to the Indian Air Force, commercial flight facilities were restored only after getting its clearance.
Aliens-UFOs seen many times before in India
But the incident of UFO sighting in India is not new. Claims of UFO sightings have been made in India before also. On March 15, 1951, at 10:21 am, members of the Delhi Flying Club saw a cigar-shaped object flying in the air. It was claimed that the metallic cigar-shaped object was hovering rapidly around the Delhi Flying Club hangar. Its length was more than 100 feet. Later that object disappeared into the sky while flying. This was mentioned in the report of ‘National Investigation Committee on Aerial Phenomena’. The person who gave the official account of this incident was Aerial Chief Engineer George F. Flotte. Many people witnessed this incident directly.
Mysterious object seen in the sky of Kolkata
On 29 October 2007, a mysterious object was seen in the sky of Kolkata. That day was Monday, between 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm in the eastern direction of Kolkata, the local people saw a mysterious object in the sky. People also made a video of that incident, but nothing could be clarified about that incident during investigation. There was also speculation that this could be a test of a missile or some other object. However, no clear conclusion could be reached.

UFO incidents occurred in many parts of the country in 2014-2015
In the year 2014-2015, UFOs were seen in many parts of the country. On July 23, 2014, people claimed to have seen a UFO in the sky of Rajajipuram area of Lucknow. Local people said that they saw a mysterious object shining in the sky.
In October 2014, a commercial pilot of an airplane, while taking off, saw a mysterious blue colored object hovering around his plane at a height of about 20 thousand feet in the sky of Pune. The pilot had also given this information to Mumbai Air Traffic Control.
Mysterious objects with colorful lights were seen in the sky on 29 October 2014 in Kochi, Kerala state. The reasons for the incident could not be clarified until later, but local people also took photographs of the mysterious luminous object.
In June 2015, Abhijeet, a boy from Kanpur, claimed to have taken a picture of a UFO with his phone. In the photo taken from the mobile, a saucer shaped object was visible in the sky.
