The High Court heard the PIL filed to rescue the workers trapped inside the tunnel in Silkyara. While hearing the case, the High Court asked the government to submit its reply within 48 hours.

Next hearing will be held on November 22
The next hearing of the case will be on November 22. The case was heard by the division bench of Acting Chief Justice Manoj Kumari Tiwari and Justice Pankaj Purohit. Let us tell you that in this matter, Samadhan NGO Krishna Vihar Dehradun had filed a PIL. He had said in this petition that 41 laborers were trapped in the tunnel in Silkyara, Uttarkashi since last November 12.

But till now the government has proved unsuccessful in throwing them out. The government and the implementing agencies are playing with the lives of the people trapped in the tunnel. Every day new methods are being adopted to evacuate the workers. Due to which his life is in danger. Therefore a criminal case should be registered against them.

The matter should be investigated by SIT
The petitioner has demanded that this entire matter should be investigated by SIT. Along with this, it has also been said in the PIL that before the work starts inside the tunnel in Silkyara, essential items should be provided to all the workers.
