This time the effect of cold will be less, Indian Meteorological Department alerts

The month of December has started in India from today and the winter season has arrived. Chilliness has started increasing in many parts including North India. Fog is also spreading in many places. In many areas it is sunny during the day but it starts getting cold in the evening. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Center has made predictions regarding winter. According to IMD, there will not be much cold this year in the main winter months i.e. from December 2023 to February 2024.

Meteorological Department gave update

IMD said that the minimum temperatures are likely to be above normal in most parts of the country during the upcoming winter season. During the season, temperatures are likely to be above normal over many parts of the country, except some areas of central and northwest India, where maximum temperatures are likely to be below normal.
