CM Dhami joined to Mumbai Kauthig Season-15, says – visit your motherland once a year

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated Kauthig by participating in ‘Mumbai Kauthig Season-15’ organized in Navi Mumbai. Addressing the program on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that organizations like Devbhoomi Sports Foundation in Mumbai are not only fulfilling their social responsibilities but are also playing an important role in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Uttarakhand.

Government is trying to make Uttarakhand the best state
The Chief Minister said that the success of this program is evident from the large number of spectators and listeners who came to Kauthig. The credit for which goes to the entire team of Devbhoomi Sports Foundation. CM Dhami said that whenever PM Modi visits Uttarakhand, he especially mentions that this third decade of the 21st century will belong to Uttarakhand.

CM Dhami said that as per PM Modi’s words, our government is continuously making efforts to make Uttarakhand the best state. He said that recently Global Investors Summit was organized in Dehradun, for which we had set a target of MoUs worth Rs. 2.5 thousand crores, but we have not only signed MoUs worth more than Rs. 3.5 lakh crores but till now about 46 Grounding worth Rs. 1000 crores has also been done. He said that I am happy to know that here the folk songs, folk dances and various forms of culture of the hills are available for the audience to see.

Our young generation will expand our cultural heritage
CM Dhami said that I have full confidence that our young generation will recognize the strength of its cultural heritage and will come forward to expand it. He said that this time’s gathering is dedicated to tourism, development and self-employment of Uttarakhand. While this unique event will introduce tourists to the beauty of Uttarakhand, it will also promote the all-round development of Uttarakhand and its immense tourism potential.

The Chief Minister said that without the ocean and mountains, our life is incomplete, just as the waves of the ocean of Mumbai and the mountains of our Uttarakhand, both inspire us to learn something or the other. The seriousness of both, the beauty of both, the decency of both teach us that no matter what happens, there is no need to lose in life. This connection also reminds us that we are all connected, no matter where we are.

Uttarakhand will be known as cultural hub
CM said that Uttarakhand, along with becoming the number one tourist state in the country and the world, will soon be known as the biggest cultural hub on the global stage due to its rich cultural heritage. He said that today the hill society is looked upon with respect in every field and behind it is our long struggle, hard work and simplicity. He said that when the people of Uttarakhand moved to Maharashtra 60-70 years ago. Then they were limited to small tasks but today times have changed. Today there is hardly any area where you do not find people from Uttarakhand.

Please visit your motherland once a year
CM said that the sweetness, humility and sense of belongingness in the culture of Uttarakhand is unique in itself. There is an emotional attachment in our food habits, our lifestyle, our speech. Who can forget the taste of our Manduve Roti, Jhingore Kheer, Hill Cucumber Raita, Potato Gutka, Bhatt Chudkani, Radish Thechayuni and Kandali Saag.

He said that on this occasion, I would urge you all to come to Uttarakhand and enjoy the specialties of our state. CM said that those who are from Uttarakhand must try to visit their motherland with their family once a year. Keep yourself and your children connected to your village, your native place, your village deity, your clan deities.
