Bihar CM Nitish Kumar resigns, will become the 9th Chief Minister again

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has resigned from his post. He reached Raj Bhavan this morning and submitted his resignation letter to Governor Rajendra Arlekar. According to information received from sources in the media report, he will form a new government in alliance with BJP and will take oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 9th time. Before Nitish submitted his resignation, a meeting of the JDU legislature party was held at the CM residence, in which all the MLAs were informed about his return to the NDA.
What did Nitish say after resigning?
After resigning, Nitish Kumar said during a conversation with journalists, “Today we have resigned from the post of Chief Minister and we have also given a proposal to the Governor to end the existing government. Everyone’s opinion, our party’s opinion, opinions were coming from all sides. We have listened to the opinion of our people and have abolished the government. We had left the earlier alliance and formed a new alliance, but after coming here the situation did not seem right, hence today we have resigned and separated. Now going into new alliance. Earlier, if the parties which were united (JDU and BJP) take a decision today, they will show fire.”
