Nitish Kumar meets PM Modi, first meeting after returning to NDA; Said- Will never leave you again

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday. Both met at the Prime Minister’s residence. This is the first meeting of Nitish and PM Modi after returning to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and taking oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar.

After the meeting with PM Modi, Nitish Kumar also met Home Minister Amit Shah and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda. It is being told that he discussed many governance and political issues related to Bihar. Later he said that we might have left NDA twice, but will never do so now. Never again. We will remain here.

In fact, on January 28, Janata Dal United along with Bharatiya Janata Party had formed a new government in Bihar. Earlier in 2020 also both the parties had come together and formed the government in Bihar. In such a situation, this is Nitish’s formal meeting with the PM after assuming the post of Chief Minister.

BJP again joins hands with RJD in 2020
In the 2020 Bihar Assembly election results, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took command with the mandate to form the government with the BJP, but in between he joined Lalu Prasad Yadav’s party Rashtriya Janata Dal.

Front also opened against the central government
A few months after becoming the Chief Minister of the grand alliance government with RJD, CM Nitish had started an alliance of anti-BJP parties across the country against the central government led by Prime Minister Modi. He had organized the first meeting of opposition unity in Patna.

Return to NDA on 28 January
At one time, Nitish was being called the architect of opposition unity, but then suddenly, calling the circumstances of the grand alliance unusual, Nitish Kumar added colors to the BJP like a homecoming. The NDA government took oath in Bihar on 28 January.
