‘Modi government, which calls itself Hindutva, has again forgotten Balasaheb Thackeray’, Sanjay Raut demands Bharat Ratna

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a big announcement on Friday (February 9). He said that former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, PV Narasimha Rao and Dr. MS Swaminathan, the father of Green Revolution in the country, will be honored with Bharat Ratna (posthumously). Meanwhile, Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut demanded to give Bharat Ratna to Balasaheb Thackeray also, saying that the government had forgotten him.

He further said, “Three people can be awarded Bharat Ratna in a year, but PM Modi has announced to give five Bharat Ratnas. Elections are near. After Karpuri Thakur and LK Advani, Chaudhary Charan Singh, PV Narasimha Rao and Swaminathan have been awarded Bharat Ratna. Other leaders are also waiting. Why has the Prime Minister forgotten Balasaheb Thackeray? Remember, it was only because of Balasaheb that PM Modi could attend the inauguration of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.”

Along with this, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Chief Raj Thackeray also demanded to give Bharat Ratna to his uncle Bal Thackeray.

He further said, “Be it the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh or the Home Minister of the country and even as an MLA, he always gave impetus to nation building. He also stood firmly against the Emergency. His dedication to our farmer brothers and sisters and his commitment to democracy during the Emergency is inspiring to the entire country.

In another post, he said, “As a distinguished scholar and politician, Narasimha Rao served India extensively in various capacities. He is also remembered for his work as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Union Minister and as a Member of Parliament and Legislative Assembly for many years. ,

In another post, Prime Minister Modi announced the award of Bharat Ratna to MS Swaminathan. PM Modi said, “He played an important role in helping India achieve self-reliance in agriculture in challenging times and made excellent efforts towards modernizing Indian agriculture”.
