All roads leading to Sandesh Khali sealed, Congress calls Mamata, ‘queen of cruelty’, accused leader is absconding

Sandeshkhali is in Basirhat block of North 24 Parganas district, about 80 kilometers from Kolkata, the capital of Bengal. It is here that Sandeshkhali has become the new political arena of Bengal. On one hand, while the opposition is raising its voice against the exploitation of women in Sandeshkhali, on the other hand, Mamata government has banned the entry of leaders of both BJP and Congress parties in Sandeshkhali. While BJP is calling Mamata government as Jungle Raj, Congress President Adhir Ranjan Choudhary in Bengal has called Mamata Banerjee the queen of cruelty.

All roads leading to Sandesh evacuated sealed
All the roads leading to Sandesh have been sealed. There is strict security of police and RAAP on all the routes. Surveillance is being done through drones. When the central government delegation was going to meet the victimized women of Sandeshkhali, the police stopped them. After which there was a heated argument between the police and all the BJP MPs including Union Minister Annapurna Devi. Mamta government alleges that the women who are accusing TMC leader Shabjahan Shaikh of sexual exploitation and land grabbing are BJP supporters or outsiders. In such a situation, the women showed their Aadhar cards and said that they are local and the oppression cannot be hidden under the guise of politics.

TMC leader Shahjahan has already caused riots
Let us tell you that absconding TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh has faced serious allegations. He is the same Shahjahan Sheikh who was earlier accused of rioting in Sandeshkhali area. When the ED team had gone to raid the hideout of this Shahjahan, he had carried out a fatal attack on the ED. But surprisingly, CM Mamata Banerjee has come to the rescue of her absconding leader.

What is the allegation?
It is alleged that Shahjahan Sheikh and his henchmen used to forcibly sexually exploit the local women and girls by pressurizing them by taking them to the local TMC office. When the women narrated their ordeal, people attacked the local TMC office with bricks and stones. Now the TMC office is locked and most of the people sitting in this office are absconding. Police personnel have been deployed here.

Home Ministry will intervene in the matter
On this entire matter, Minister of State for Home Nisith Pramanik said, law and order has completely collapsed in Bengal. The Chief Minister is sitting as a silent spectator. When Sheikh Shahjahan has committed atrocities then who will answer? We have taken this matter very seriously. If Mamata Banerjee does not pay attention to this then the Central Government and the Home Ministry will definitely intervene.
