There is volatility in Sensex-Nifty, investors earned ₹ 67000 crores

From most global markets the domestic market is witnessing ups and downs amid strong trends. On the other hand, metal and IT shares are trying to control the market, while on the other hand, pharma shares are creating pressure. The benchmark index is under pressure due to selling in heavyweight stocks like HDFC Bank. Overall, in this upheaval, the market cap of companies listed on BSE increased by Rs 67 thousand crore after the market opened, that is, the wealth of investors has increased by Rs 67 thousand crore. Now talking about equity benchmark indices, BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 are looking almost flat. Sensex is currently at 72566.02 and Nifty at 22045.70. A trading day ago, Sensex had closed at 72623.09 and Nifty at 22055.05.

One trading day earlier i.e. on 21 February 2024, the total market cap of all the shares listed on BSE was Rs 3,88,87,510.87 crore. Today i.e. on 22 February 2024, as soon as the market opened, it jumped to Rs 3,89,54,949.75 crore. This means that investors’ capital has increased by Rs 67438.88 crore.

17 shares of Sensex in green zone

There are 30 shares listed on Sensex, of which 17 are in the green zone. The biggest gains are in Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra and Axis Bank. 103 shares at one year high

Today 2296 shares are being traded on BSE. In this, 1641 shares are looking strong, 534 are showing a declining trend and 121 are showing no change. Apart from this, 103 shares fell to one year high and 1 share fell to one year low. While 88 shares reached the upper circuit, 37 shares reached the lower circuit.
