The bus service from Dehradun to Khirsu started in the first week of October, but ten days later on October 17, the bus service was stopped. When the reason was asked, the roadways management said that the driver-conductor gets Rs 140 per night allowance per person, which is available for living and eating, but in Khirsu, the cost of food and stay of a person is Rs 400 to 500. Is. The driver-conductor is unable to pay the bill, so the bus service had to be stopped. Gajendra Kathait, Assistant General Manager of Parvatiya Depot, said that the service will be started if arrangements for the food and lodging of the driver-conductor are made in Khirsu. Here the driver-conductors were unable to get cheap food and lodging facilities, due to which the decision to stop the bus service had to be taken.
